Arcflow Stainless Steel Filler Wire SS 316L is a high-quality welding consumable specially developed for welding 316 and 316L grade stainless steels in demanding industrial environments. It conforms to AWS A5.9 ER316L classification, ensuring reliable weld metal composition and consistent welding performance.
The filler wire contains high chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%), which provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical attack, particularly in chloride-rich environments such as marine and chemical industries.
The low carbon content (maximum 0.03%) reduces carbide precipitation during welding and improves resistance to intergranular corrosion, ensuring long-lasting weld joints even at elevated temperatures.
Arcflow SS 316L filler wire offers stable arc characteristics, smooth metal transfer, and minimal spatter, allowing welders to achieve clean weld beads with excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
