Category:

Arcflow ER5356 Aluminum MIG Welding Wire is a premium aluminum filler wire developed for MIG (GMAW) welding of aluminum and aluminum-magnesium alloys. It conforms to AWS A5.10 ER5356 standards, ensuring consistent welding quality and reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

ER5356 welding wire contains approximately 4.5–5.5% magnesium, which significantly improves weld strength, corrosion resistance, and durability compared to many other aluminum filler metals.

The magnesium alloy composition also provides excellent resistance to saltwater and harsh outdoor environments, making it ideal for marine, transportation, and structural aluminum applications.

Arcflow ER5356 aluminum MIG wire delivers smooth wire feeding, stable arc characteristics, and clean weld bead appearance with minimal spatter. These properties help welders achieve strong and reliable weld joints with good mechanical strength and fatigue resistance.

This welding wire is widely used for welding 5000 series aluminum alloys such as 5052, 5083, 5454, and 5456, and can also be used with certain 6000 series aluminum alloys in fabrication work.

Arcflow ER5356 MIG wire works effectively with 100% argon or argon-helium shielding gas, ensuring stable arc performance and excellent weld penetration in aluminum welding processes.

Due to its high strength and corrosion resistance, ER5356 aluminum MIG welding wire is commonly used in marine structures, automotive parts, shipbuilding, rail transport, pressure vessels, and industrial aluminum fabrication.
